Our History
Project Hit Zero, Inc. was founded in 2026 after I had to make one of the hardest decisions of my life - pulling my 14-year-old daughter from Allstar cheer due to financial hardship.
For the past 10 years, I watched as cheerleading built her confidence, discipline, & resilience. Watching her step away from something she loved - not because of talent or dedication, but because of cost - was heartbreaking.
I knew we weren't alone. Many families face the same struggle. I knew I had to make a change. Not only for my daughter, but for other young athletes as well.
Project Hit Zero was created so that no family has to face that same decision. The term "HIT ZERO" represents the ultimate goal in cheer - a routine with ZERO deductions. For us, it means something even greater: ZERO athletes deducted from the sport due to financial hardship.
Through need-based scholarships and community support, we are working to ensure that passion and dedication - not income - determine who gets to take that mat. If you want to learn more about our initiatives or how to support us, feel free to contact us.
This organization was built from love, determination, and the belief that EVERY DREAM DESERVES TO HIT ZERO! Together, we can strive for a world with zero barriers in cheerleading, or financial hardship for our young athletes.
