The main goal of Project Hit Zero is to generate resources to provide financial assistance and scholarships to youth athletes participating in All-Star cheerleading who's families cannot afford the costs associated with training, uniforms, and competition participation.
Project Hit Zero offers a wide range assistance. Such as a one time need of help with purchasing a uniform or one month of gym fees, full-season tuition coverage, or help with post season event fees.
No Project Hit Zero cannot help with costs like hotel, gas, or airfares. Each family is expected to cover these costs on their own.
Project Hit Zero will look at each case individually. We understand life happens and things come up that can put a strain on the family financially . If you need assistance but would not normally qualify, simply reach out and one of our team members will respond within 48 hours to discuss your situation.
Each application will be looked at and scored by our board. Athletes with higher scores will be considered for funding based on available resources. If resources are still available, we will move down the list. In the event of a tie, athletes will be chosen by a lottery system.
Your application got accepted! That's great news! You will be sent a link for a welcome video call/orientation and a downloadable packet that we will go over together. Immediately after receiving the acceptance letter, email, or call, you are expected to take your athlete to any and all upcoming practices and/ or competitions. Rest assured that before you received your acceptance, one of our team reached out to your gym to update them with new payment methods. We will handle all of it.
NO! All information shared with Project Hit Zero is strictly confidential. We will never disclose why you had to apply for services. Although most gyms and gym owners know what our organization does, we will never tell them personal details as to why. We will also ask each gym we work with to keep all scholarship recipients' status confidential as well so that no other families know that your account has been funded by us.
